A Very Special Christmas for Me

 Like I promised..another Christmas post. It's a little late because my nieces and nephews were over so we were all spending time together. But here it is, my Christmas! A few of the pictures are from Christmas Eve night with the family and others are from Christmas day. I put a video clip of Chris Brown's song "This Christmas." It is the perfect song because it explains exactly how I felt this Christmas. So enjoy the pictures with Chris Brown's sweet voice in the background!

Merry NBA Day!!

The day is finally here!! Yes, Christmas day but the start of the NBA!! There is nothing like unwrapping gifts with family and playing with all of our new gadgets ..a little basketball adds the lights to our day! It feels great to finally be watching some sports again. Since I do need to still keep the Christmas spirit, I made sure that this Christmas morning my colors were represented. Green, red, and white! Green jersey, red socks, and some nice touches of white! LET'S GO CELTICS!!! 

Ok, I have to get back to watching the rest of the game! More Christmas pictures from last night and this morning coming up later on in the day. Two blog post in one day...my gift to you ; ) Hope everyone is having a beautiful Christmas so far!

Ever thought about getting tatted before?? Well, I have. Many times I've thought about getting a tattoo, but never really knew what to get. I know what you might be thinking, why does she want one? Is she just going through a phase just to get one?? The answer is no! 

My best cousin and I have always wanted to get a tattoo that will represent the relationship that we have. It will be cool to finally get one this year before the year ends! So what do you think we should get?? Girly but classy ..mhmm!

"Clothing Of The Future"

While researching information for a project, I came across this video depicting what designers sometime around the 1930's thought fashion in 2000 would look like. It is amusing and interesting to see what people used to think of what we were going to wear in the future.

'Future fashions' mentioned in the clip about the future fashion were:

--the dress for every occasion    (check we have that)

--Transparent Knit to "get the attention of the guys"  (check; but not so much for the guys but to express oneself )

--Wedges will be used as heels (check)

--High-waisted belts to create a look (check)

--Electric headlights to find a honest men  (ummm thank god we don't)

After watching this video, it makes me think of what fashion will be in seventy more years. What do you think?? Will people start wearing electric headlights on their head to find the right men??.....Mhmm I wonder if that will work haha

Happy December everyone!! I can't believe its Christmas time again; probably the 'most wonderful time of the year.' To prepare for the Christmas time, my best friend and I went to spend the day in New York. Ohh how beautiful it was! Every single time I am in New York I feel like a little girl in a candy store. This time that's exactly what I did; went to Dylan's Candy Bar store, M&M's store, and the Hershey store. Among all the candy were the diverse culture and clothing. Each minute was full of something new and exciting to see. I've been to NY a couple of times but never seen soo many great things in one day. Makes me want to move there ASAP!  So what is your favorite thing about NYC?

Sorry for the lack of post. I hope everyone is having a great turkey day! Thanksgiving is one of those days where we enjoy the time with family and friends. Laughter, food and music are all part of the celebration. This Thanksgiving has been very different for me. The tradition that we once had, is not there anymore. The people we always use to see during these nights, aren't around anymore; the laughters are now silent; and the dancing has died down. Time passes by and people change. All we have left are the memories. But, one thing I know will NEVER change is the LOVE I have for my family!!! I cannot wait until I get to see them all again! You can change boyfriends; you can change friends, but one thing that can never be changed is the family we were born into!! I LOVE MY FAMILY!!! I hope everyone is spending it with their love ones and eating a lot!!

Sister, Sisters

My fashion icons and life inspiration, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, got awarded by Vogue Magazine best dressed. I agree 100 percent! These two young women are very inspiring and know how to stand out in the crowd by doing the right thing. Hope to meet them someday! Until then, I will be reading this issue right when it comes out in a couple of days.

December 2011 is all about sisters. Dekota and her sister Elle Fanning are on the cover of W Magazine's December 2011 issue. The pictures look stunning! This is a way that young ladies should grow up. Being in front of camera lights does not give anyone the excuse to become slutty or start doing negative things. These girls are true role models for many other girls out there!

Work Out For Me..

I love working out but, sometimes with my schedule it is hard to fit it into my daily life. Finally, today had no work and no school which means ...no excuse!! WORKOUT TIME!! Sometimes all you need to get up from bed is a little motivation from something or someone ; )  and some good music. Keep reading and get inspired to workout.

The Many Names

Last night was all about feeling like you were an Arabian Princess! I helped backstage during the Fashion Doctor's fashion show. Looking at all the dresses and head piece from the collection 'The Many Names' brought me back to my childhood memories when I use to love (ok maybe I still do), love Jasmine from Aladdin. A little 'swag' or what my friends and I like to call  it, UGLYSWAG!! When your style it's just  so "UH" its ugly...I love trying the androgynous look. I can be areally girly with lace and pearls but, this girl meets boy look is my favorite...at least for now.  Will be trying these looks soon. Maybe this time i'll do a look of the day post.
