Taking it & Making it My Own!

One of my inspiration for coming up with the whole concept of my blog, was the idea behind the Spring 2011 ad for T by Alexander Wang. The idea of starting from nothing and becoming something great, is exactly what I look to achieve. For the Spring ad Wang decided to use model Ashley Smith and producer Diplo, music producer behind Beyonce’s recent album. The collaboration of fashion and music fits perfectly with the line and for this blog. Both are away of expressing what we have to say, the way we want to say it. Just like the line ‘T,’ Building My Own Respect is still growing; it is just the beginning of great things to come!
Let's Cheer to a New Beginning
After months of thinking about creating a blog and thinking about that perfect name, it is finally here!! The first post of 'Building My Own Respect' !! The name represents what I am trying to achieve in my life; being well respected among the fashion industry. There are steps that I have to take, things that I have to learn, and places that I have to visit in order to achieve my dreams. This blog will be about all the things I love: art, fashion, and music. Come on this journey with me and I promise I won't let you down!
