Happy Sunday everyone! Hope everyone has been having a great weekend. My weekend has been very good and relaxing! My friend, photographer Archee, took these amazing images of me last weekend while we had downtime at work. Being surrounded by so many beautiful models, made me want to be one for a couple of minutes haha. Thanks to Jason, the makeup artist, for making my lips lusciously red. It is always great to have a little fun while working. My outfit was inspired by the one and only, Coco Chanel. It is my twist of what Coco would of worn if she lived during our time period..wouldn't that be awesome?

It's supermodel, Kate Moss, birthday today!! Wow, she has come a long way. From multiple ads, to runways across the world, and parties that last all night; Kate Moss has done it all! Still one of the most famous model, Kate Moss is a gorgeous woman. I thought that for her 38th birthday, I should show some of her first few ad campaigns with Calvin Klein that put her on the map as one of the models from the 1990s that popularized the heroin chic look. Whether some may disagree on certain things Kate may do, we cannot deny that she has a talent that cannot be compared and a trendsetter for all of us fashionistas!

Check it Out

So, I came across these images of Megan Fox at the Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles, April 2010. At first, I had to do a double take to figure out which one was Megan Fox. It is astonishing how mannequins can be created to look exactly like actors, singers, even every day people. "What is the story behind this photo shoot?" That is the question I keep asking myself as I view the images over and over again. One thing for sure, the images are stunning!!

Awards season is finally here!! Stunning actresses and actors wearing their finest designers gown or suit, cannot get any better than that. These are a few of the dresses from Spring/Summer 2012 collections, I hope to see tonight on the Golden Globe's red carpet. Everything from Oscar de la Renta, Versace and Elie Saab. It's Not All About the Clothes..

There is nothing more exciting than Fall/Winter Fashion Week!! I am soo looking forward to this February. But, it is not all about the clothes, it's the whole package. Until February comes, I am enjoying viewing all these Pre-Fall 2012 collections. One of my favorite collection, out of the so many, is Erin Fetherston's Pre-Fall 2012. Everything is so effortless and minimalist, perfect for a college girl like me. One of the element that I really liked were the two hair styles that model Allaire Heisig had. The braided beauty fits perfectly with the whole aesthetic of the collection. I love how one can just pin up the braided ponytail into a bun. Genius! The effortless hairdos is perfect for those days that we want to look like we didn't try too hard. I think I will have my roommate do this to my hair one of these days! Sometimes is good to mix things up. Pictures coming soon!

Preparing for those Rainy Days

There's nothing better than to get a chance to play dress up at work. Today, I got to look for an outfit that will stand the upcoming winter weather that us New Englanders have not seen in a very long time. At Daniela Corte, I got to wear the cape-trench coat, the versatile top (which I fell in love with), and the "trusty, laundry-machine-friendly leggings." I have to say that with those leggings and versatile top, no one, not even the rain, can stop me! I love adding a pop of color to a gloomy day. The best part to add the pop of color would be on the lips or a stylish umbrella. In my case, I wore Revlon Siren lipstick and I loved it! Now off to play dress up with my clothes and see what I should wear tomorrow for the first day back to classes and first real winter weather. Let the little girl inside me, come out and play : )

"Walk of Chic"

    Facebook who?...Twitter is where is at! Don't get me wrong Facebook is perfect for business, but Twitter is just more fun. I got a new follower today named @LeyendeckerLA. Leyendecker Los Angeles is a fashion line by Jessica Moss & Lisa Guajardo. While looking through their tweets I came up with this really cute youtube video. One of the worst..well maybe not too bad if you had a good night ; ) ... could be having to do that 'walk of shame.' I personally, always try to avoid that. But, hey sometimes you cannot avoid it. Lisa and Jessica from Leyendecker Los Angeles show how the walk of shame can turn into ...the "walk of chic! " I love the last look of "borrowing" the boys sweater and belt and just making a cute outfit to continue your day. Check it out I am sure you will love it!

"You Da One" Rihanna that inspired me. I don't know why but this video is very intriguing. Every shot in this video is inspiring to me. Click... pause... inspired! From the clothing, to the jewelry, and the nails. It's art! Of course the clothing, would be a little less toned down on me. But, just the playfulness of each look and how everything works so well with each other makes me want to create and explore into a new look. It is 2012, why not right?

Working Towards a Dream

     I am soo excited!! I just came from Boston Design Center. Had a meeting with Aimee and stylist Kristina Koziak to talk about interning with them for this upcoming semester. You might be wondering 'why the PUMA video on top?' Well Aimee and Kristina work with Puma to create ads and their website content. It is right up my alley, especially now that I am trying to get back to my usual workout schedule. What better motivation than to be surrounded by awesome workout gear. I am soo excited to start!! It is something different from the fancy and ready-to-wear clothing I am use to seeing behind the scenes at fashion shows. Cannot wait to take my styling creativity to the next level and see how it works out : )

Skateboards Taken to the Next Level

While watching the Celtics game I always like to browse the net during commercials and see what I find. Tonight, I found this really cool artist from Japan named Haroshi. Haroshi creates three-dimensional sculptures (like body parts and fictional characters) made out of recycled skateboards. So check out the rest of the pics..I promise you will like them!

Boston's First Night

My bestie managed to get free fried dough from Daddy's Fried Dough, awarded best fried dough place by the Food Network's show called Sugar High :) 

Happy 2012 Everyone!! I cannot believe it, but we are back in January. 2011 was a great year for me. There was a lot of downs but a lot of ups. I do not regret anything that has happen during the last year. I have met and worked with wonderful people. And finally started my blog after a long period of brainstorming. I usually do not do new year resolutions but one of the things that I wish to do more is take this blog to the next level. I have so many ideas but never really do them. But, 2012 will be different! I hope everyone had a safe and fun New Years Eve!
