Monday Inspiration

     

    Today has been a weird day. Because of fashion shows, I started getting behind on my school work. So I decided to take a break from the shows and work on some homework. Here are a few inspirational videos that were brought into my attention today by my friend Josh.

      The first video is called "Let me know by Roisin Murphy." The concept behind the video is nothing too special. But, what really stands out is the outfit created by Gareth Pugh. The sharp shoulders, the pink gloves, and the cool hat, gotta love. It reminds me a little of the Fall/Winter 2011 Louis Vuitton collection. Pugh was always ahead of time, this video shows that. Enjoy.

  

     Magazine editor, Isabella Blow, was a great inspiration to many among the fashion industry. Her ability to scout out incredible talent was amazing. Some could say that Lady Gaga could have been inspired by the late Isabella Blow. This video is a tribute to the women of fashion. Enjoy.

     Sorry for the lack of postings, but it has been a little crazy these past few days. Any ways, the day is finally here. The night that my best friend, Sarah, and I go to the Enrique Iglesias, Pitbull, and the cutie Prince Royce. Three Latino Papis on one stage, for just one night. I do not know the last time Enrique was here in Boston, but all I know is that we were not going to miss this for anything. All three men produce music that just makes you want to dance and be loved; there is nothing wrong with that. So if you want to dance a little and feel a little loved, then go ahead and listen to some great music.

Fashion Night Out in Boston

Seeing Double

     If the British invasion has ever going to happen again, I wish they would all have the same style as Alexa Chung. My admiration for Alexa all began when I first saw her show on MTV. She experienced with different looks, from the girly too the punk rock. Now she has evolved to become a modern fashion icon; a girl that has such a great personality with an androgynous look. So, no surprise that she was featured on the covers of both edition of Harper’s Bazaar  UK and Australia October 2011. Cannot get enough of Miss.Chung!

  

Back in the City

    Back at the dorms. Summer really flew by this year. I moved in today and let me say that I am so glad I decided to move in a day earlier. The actual move in process went very smoothly. No crowds, no double parking, and the best part got to pick the bed that I wanted. This year I’ll be living in a new building with returning students. The dorm is further away from the classes and my room is way smaller than last year, but I’m trying to have a positive mind set and just hope for the best. A new year, with new projects, and new experiences. Alright, I should get some sleep now since my roommates are moving in early tomorrow. Buenas Noche!
